Vivian graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in psychology and anthropology with the completion of a music performance unit at the University of Sydney. She was awarded the Licentiate of Trinity London College (LTCL) in flute and accredited as an international Kindermusik educator.

Vivian works as a playgroup music educator at childcare centres, kindergartens and learning centres in Sydney. She strives to nurture musical interests and passions among the young ones. She believes arts and music are powerful ways to connect with the community and strengthen family bonding. This philosophy is not only evident in her work but also reflected in her own life, where she shares a loving home with her husband and daughter.

Vivian also performed as a flute soloist in multiple ensembles at the University of Sydney and the local community. As a flautist, she performed publicly with various orchestras in Sydney and Hong Kong, including the Sydney University Wind Orchestra.
